| CORE's 5 Step Disaster Preparedness | CORE's 5-step Disaster Preparedness workshop prepares participants to be ready to take action when it comes to responding to a disaster. |
| CPR/AED Training | CPR training can double or triple a person’s chance of survival after cardiac arrest, making it one of the most impactful skills you can learn to save lives in an emergency. If you are planning on going to teaching, healthcare, sport & fitness, emergency response or construction. | Cold Water Safety | Cold water is a big danger here in Humboldt country. Cold water death occurs multiple times a year. This skill shop teaches participants how to recognize and respond to the dangers of cold-water exposure, including hypothermia, cold shock, and drowning. | Stop the Bleed | Severe bleeding can kill a person in as little as three minutes, often not enough time for first responders to arrive on scene. This often leads bystanders to be the first people responding.
