Summer Term 2024
The CSU makes every effort to keep student costs to a minimum. Fees listed in published schedules or student accounts may need to be increased when public funding is inadequate. Therefore, CSU must reserve the right, even after initial fee payments are made, to increase or modify any listed fees, without notice, until the date when instruction for a particular semester or quarter has begun.
All CSU listed fees should be regarded as "estimates" that are subject to change upon approval by The Board of Trustees
Summer Session Information
Continuing students are eligible to take summer session classes. The summer semester does NOT have enrollment appointments, all eligible continuing students can begin adding summer classes on April 8, 2024. We offer both online and on-campus courses, with condensed 5 or 8 week sessions to fit your schedule.

Summer Covered Units - Cost Assistance Program
For the 2024 Summer term, the university is guaranteeing 4 units, if enrolled in 6 or more units, will be covered for all continuing matriculated undergraduate students. This will cover 4 units of the tuition charge and does not include coverage of mandatory campus-based fees or the additional non-resident tuition if applicable.
To be eligible, students must be:
- Continuing, matriculated, undergraduate students (including WUE students)
- Enrolled in 6 or more units within the state-side summer session
- Meeting Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP)
Programs and Fees NOT eligible for this program:
- Mandatory campus based fees (rates listed below)
- Non-resident tuition (rates listed below)
- Secondary bachelor's students
- Master's students
- Faculty led study abroad or field courses
- Special session courses
- Leadership Studies students
- Extension non-credit courses
- Intership, independent study, and field experience
Withdrawing or dropping courses below 6 units during the Summer Session may result in ineligibility for the Cost Assistance Program. Please visit the Financial Aid Website for more information.
Summer Session classes begin Tuesday, May 28, 2024, with tuition and fees due by the first day of classes
