The Financial Aid office is available to answer your questions in person, on the phone, over email, and over Zoom. This page provides all the information on how to connect with us!

Financial Aid Office Operation Hours: 

Summer Hours: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 10:00 - 3:00 - The office will be closed to the public on Wednesdays for internal work days.

Fall Peak Hours (Aug. 5th - Sept. 6th): Monday - Friday, closed for lunch (noon - 1:00). 
Phones will be open 8:00 - 5:00 (closed for lunch) and the counter will be open 9:00 - 4:00 (closed for lunch). 

Holiday Closures: The Financial Aid office will be closed on all holidays listed on the Green and Gold Calendar

Front Counter: Located in the Student Business Services (SBS) Building, second floor

Stop by the office during our open hours to speak with a Student Peer Advisor or a Financial Aid Advisor about your financial aid questions. No appointment is needed for general questions and check in. We look forward to seeing you!

If you can't find your answer on our website, most likely we can answer your question over the phone. Phones are answered weekdays during our hours of operations. Please have your student ID number ready so that we may help you as quickly as possible. Students are required to have an Authorization of Release on file before the Financial Aid office can disclose information to parents or other family members. 

Appointments: CLOSED until September

We recommend to FIRST call our office as your concerns can likely be addressed without the need for an appointment.

Appointments through July are fully booked. For the month of August, students can call or stop by in person during our operation hours for first-come, first-serve drop-in appointments. Please revisit this page in September to book an appointment.

Emails are managed Monday – Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Current response time is 3 - 5 business days. Please include your full name and Humboldt Student ID number so that we may look up your account information. 

Financial Aid Virtual & After Hours Assistance

Zoom sessions are available for students with questions about financial aid. Parents will not be able to access student information without authorization from the student. By participating in remote learning, you agree that you may not save, record, share or post information from sessions or any photos from this session without prior permission. Staff also agree that they will not save, record, share or post from sessions or any photos from this session without prior permission.
