The Financial Aid office is available to answer your questions in person, on the phone, over email, and over Zoom. This page provides all the information on how to connect with us!
 

Financial Aid Office Operation Hours: 

Any changes to our regular operation hours will be updated on this webpage. Please review the information below on the various ways to connect with the office.

Special Closures: The Financial Aid office will be closed to the public on the following days:

• Wednesday May 13th from 12:00 p.m. - 1:30 p.m.
• Wednesday June 10th
• Wednesday July 15th

Holiday Closures: The Financial Aid office will be closed on all holidays listed on the Green and Gold Calendar

Front Counter: 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. 

Located in the Student Business Services (SBS) Building, second floor

Stop by the office during our open hours to speak with a Student Peer Advisor or a Financial Aid Advisor about your financial aid questions. No appointment is needed for general questions and check in. We look forward to seeing you!

If you can't find your answer on our website, most likely we can answer your question over the phone. Phones are answered weekdays during our hours of operations. Please have your student ID number ready so that we may help you as quickly as possible. Students are required to have an Authorization of Release on file before the Financial Aid office can disclose information to parents or other family members. 

Walk-In Wednesdays: 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.

Join us on Wednesdays for dedicated in-person 1 on 1 support from our professional staff. No prior appointment is necessary. Making it easy for you to get the help you need when you need it! Just visit our office on the 2nd floor of SBS and ask for 1 on 1 drop-in assistance. 
 

Scheduled Appointments: 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. 
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, & Friday 

Appointments are available on a first-come, first-served basis. These appointments are for Cal Poly Humboldt students. Parents may accompany the student to the appointment as long as the student provides consent to release their financial aid information. If you miss your appointment, you will need to schedule a new one based on availability. Appointments are available in-person at our office, over Zoom, or by phone call.

Emails are managed Monday – Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Due to the high volume of incoming emails current response time is 6 - 8 business days. Please include your full name and Humboldt Student ID number so that we may look up your account information.
